Beverly Hills — the Flats and the Hillside Communities. We respond quickly, discreetly, and with direct coordination at Cedars-Sinai and the surrounding Westside centers.
Beverly Hills is small geographically but distinctive — the Flats below Sunset with their wide residential streets, the hillside communities above Benedict Canyon and Coldwater Canyon, and the dense commercial core along Rodeo and Wilshire. Our Beverly Hills calls come from the full range: single-family homes in the Flats, legacy condos on Doheny and Wilshire, hillside estates reached by long private drives.
Beverly Hills' hospital coverage is dominated by Cedars-Sinai just east on Beverly Boulevard — one of the largest and most sophisticated acute care centers in the country. UCLA Ronald Reagan handles some tertiary cases, and Kaiser West LA serves the HMO membership. Beverly Hills has its own police department which handles initial pronouncement for unattended deaths. Discretion matters here, and we lead with it.
Our team coordinates directly with the hospitals that most often serve Beverly Hills families — from case management to decedent affairs — so release and transfer happen without the usual delay.
8700 Beverly Boulevard
The regional anchor — Cedars sits just east of the Beverly Hills city line and serves the overwhelming majority of Beverly Hills hospital calls. One of the most streamlined decedent affairs channels in LA County.
757 Westwood Plaza
UCLA handles higher-acuity and tertiary cases from Beverly Hills. We coordinate directly with UCLA case management.
6041 Cadillac Avenue
Serves the Beverly Hills Kaiser HMO membership. We handle Kaiser WLA transfers daily.
1250 16th Street, Santa Monica
UCLA Santa Monica catches some West Beverly Hills families — same coordination system as Ronald Reagan.
Working regularly in Beverly Hills means we know the neighborhoods, the hospitals, the cemetery options, and how LA County logistics intersect with this part of the city.
The Flats are easy to reach — straight shot off the 405 or Wilshire. We're typically on-site within 45 minutes to 1 hour. The hillside estates are slower: long private drives, gated entries, and after-dark visibility that extend response to 1.5–2.5 hours. We coordinate access directly with household staff or security when the family prefers. Discretion is our default.
Cedars-Sinai is the dominant channel — most Beverly Hills hospital calls originate there. UCLA Ronald Reagan handles higher-acuity cases. Kaiser WLA covers HMO membership. For specialty transfers, Cedars and UCLA are the usual routes. All three are channels we work daily.
Hillside Memorial Park in Culver City/Westchester is the historic Jewish cemetery most often chosen by Beverly Hills Jewish families — a short drive south. Westwood Village Memorial Park is another well-known choice. Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills serves families looking at Burbank-side options. For scattering, the Pacific at Santa Monica or Marina del Rey is 15–20 minutes down the 10.
Beverly Hills routes to the LA County Medical Examiner at 1104 N. Mission Rd. in Boyle Heights — about 30 minutes via the 10 or Wilshire. Beverly Hills PD typically handles initial pronouncements for unattended deaths. Attended hospital deaths at Cedars or UCLA with physician certification don't require Coroner routing.
The next step depends on where the passing happened. Here's the clearest path forward in each situation.
The hospital pronounces death and notifies their decedent affairs team. You designate us as the cremation provider — one call to (323) 282-5457 and we coordinate the release directly with the hospital. You don't need to be at the hospital when we arrive.
Call the hospice first — their nurse comes out, pronounces, and completes initial paperwork. Then call us. We arrive within 2–3 hours in most parts of Beverly Hills to bring your loved one into our care.
Under California law, an authorized responder must pronounce death first. Call 911 and request the non-emergency response if the passing was expected. Once paramedics or law enforcement complete their part, call us.
Sudden or unexplained deaths route to the LA County Medical Examiner at 1104 N. Mission Rd. in Boyle Heights. We coordinate pickup directly from the Coroner once released, and we keep your family updated at every step.
We cover the entire Beverly Hills area. If you're calling from any of the neighborhoods below — or anywhere else in Beverly Hills — we come to you.
